Abstract (EN)
When we look from past to present and consider the Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear (CBRN) events that have occurred in the world, it is clearly seen that there are factors such as social, physical and psychological destruction on society. Those groups this destruction that are most affected are children. Although the effects of disasters on children are generally discussed in the literature, the number of studies on CBRN threats is quite low. This situation claims that the effects that children may experience if exposed to CBRN events need to be considered in more detailed. This study refers to effectiveness of animation-supported CBRN education for 7th grade secondary school students. It also highlights the increase in participants' CBRN acknowledge standards. In these trainings, it is supported to increase students' awareness and knowledge levels by using own prepareted cartoon/animation films. In the study, firstly CBRN Knowledge Test Development was carried out. On the one hundred secondary school 7th grade students who participated in the CBRN ackknowledge test development study, 50% were boys and 50% were girls. According to the results of the validity and reliability analysis, the CBRN Knowledge Test has been determined to be a valid and reliable measurement tool in measuring CBRN knowledge. After that, the CBRN Knowledge Test was administered to the participants before the training. After the participants were given training in line-animation and presentation studies, the CBRN Knowledge Test was administered again. Besides to this test, training satisfaction and animation opinion scopes were applied to the participants. The study claims that animation-supported CBRN learning for 7th grade secondary school students provided a important increase in the participants' CBRN and first aid knowledge levels and that their satisfaction with the training was high. The low CBRN level later increased to a higher level with the animation training, and students' awareness of CBRN threats and first aid knowledge and skills increased. Considering the results of the study, this study, which was conducted focusing on 7th grade secondary school students, examines how animation-supported CBRN education and the increase in the knowledge levels of the participants are how effective animation is in education. It also made the learning time more enjoyable. In addition, it clearly demonstrates the importance of raising children's knowledge and awareness about CBRN threats and helping them make on-site interventions in emergency situations.
