Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, a new nanofluids, which contains more than two nano-sized particles and two different base fluids, is produced. In order to prepare hybrid nanofluids, triple hybrid nanoparticles containing metal oxide and Al2O3, ZnO and TiO2 is produced. Subsequently, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) analysis techniques were used to measure properties of hybrid nanoparticles. Thus, water-antifreeze based new multicomponent nanofluid is generated by produced the nanoparticle materials. The thermophysical properties (thermal conductivity, viscosity, density, specific heat capacity) are measured for hybrid nano-fluids. As a result of the measurements, the highest thermal conductivity (0,721 W / mK at 50 °C) is observed for (Al2O3)+(ZnO)2+(TiO2) hybrid nanofluid. Thermal conductivity value is expressed by regression analysis of calculated values as a function of temperature, density and based fluid volume construction. It is found that the density values for hybrid nanofluids are higher than that of their base fluid for three specimen.
