Abstract (EN)
The art of marbling has gained an independent art identity over time. This situation was undoubtedly due to the outstanding ebru artists. In this study, apart from ney interpretation, the activities and life of Niyazi Sayın, who is a versatile artist who creates works in all kinds of Turkish marbling, and develops and enriches the existing varieties, has been researched and tried to be conveyed. Especially while laying the foundations of the art of marbling, his innovations and experiments in this field were investigated. Thus, in this study, it is aimed to analyze Niyazi Sayın's understanding of art in general, the idea that art branches support each other, his material and technical applications in the art of marbling, and the aesthetic dimension of his marbling.
