Contemporary art and entertainment industry

It has been thought that contemporary art was linked to having a good time and entertainment sector in west more than ever, from 80s, with the privatization of culture. Even though the combination of entertainment industry and contemporary art has been faced heavy criticisms, it is known that a part of people support the need of more fun in museums and galleries in order to address wider communities. Concordantly, cooperation and intimacy between contemporary art and entertainment industry amoung the world and in our country from 2000s, will be studied (by scanning the newspaper, magazines, internet news and literature), and examined in this work. In the first part of the study, historical, political and cultural analysis of the platforms that take part together with contemporary art and entertainment industry will be seen. In second and third parts, the common work of entertainment industry and contemporary art‟s comprehensive deep analysis will be formed
