Abstract (EN)
Packaging plays an important role in protecting the product and delivering it to the consumer. Especially, it enables the consumer to purchase healthy and reliable products with the right material selection and a visual design where product information can be conveyed accurately and clearly in order to avoid the physical and chemical effects of food products that may directly affect human life. The emergence of the Covid-19 virus, which threatens human health today, in China in 2019 and its spread to the whole world, has led to changes in human life. This change also affects the purchasing behavior and packaging design features of consumers in food products. In this study, which examines the purchasing behavior of consumers in Turkey, according to the analysis of the survey results in which 158 people participated, in the purchasing process, a packaging design that has the functions considered in packaging design from product preferences to consumption time is suggested.
