Investigation of COVID-19 epidemic in terms of international relations in biotechnology

Although the Covid-19 epidemic, which started in China in 2019 and spread to the world, lost its effect, it did not end. The global inflation wave created by the prolongation of the epidemic continues to negatively affect the economies of the countries. If there was an effective method to combat the epidemic, these problems would not have occurred. The aim of this study is to analyze the methods applied by countries in combating epidemics from the perspective of biotechnology and international relations disciplines and to present an effective roadmap to the international community in the fight against possible epidemics. As a result of our study, the epidemic process was prolonged due to the inability of countries to fight the epidemic in coordination and the vaccine nationalism that emerged in this process, and accordingly, the world remained under the influence of the global inflation wave. Within the scope of this study, it was concluded that in the fight against global epidemics, the prevention activities of the states within their borders will not be enough to stop the epidemic and that the effective fight against the epidemic can only be done with the common mind and effort of the international community.
