The prophet's (Pbuh) approach to problems in the context of solution-focused understanding

Today, the "Solution-Focused Approach" model, which is known as a modern approach and a psychotherapy model in the field of mental health, has recently been widely used in many fields such as education, health, and business management. This approach, which has made a name for itself with its success in solving problems in a short time with its different method and coping with problems in times of crisis, draws attention with the basic principles such as focusing on the solution instead of the problem, revealing the strengths, focusing on the future rather than the past, being useful and flexible, progressing with small steps and emphasis on change. is that it has been adopted. The interesting thing is that this recently emerged method is extremely compatible with the Prophet's (pbuh) approach to problems 14 centuries ago. As a matter of fact, The Prophet's (pbuh) life as a human being, despite the troubles he was exposed to, in his relations with people; With its effective communication, persuasion power, mediation, intervention in crises, problem-solving success and personality traits that guide humanity, it is full of exemplary life models that will shed light on the prominent individual and social problems of our time and should be used in many fields from education to mental health. In this study, we discuss the solution-oriented understanding of the Prophet in the light of the hadiths. The Prophet's relationships with people and his intervention in the problems presented to him have been tried to be interpreted by comparing them with the basic principles of the solution-oriented approach. The narrations mentioned under the relevant topic regarding the Prophet's (pbuh) positive perspective and solution-oriented approach to problems consist of hadiths that shed light on today, touch life and contain messages that will guide people in difficult times. Although this study, which emphasizes the current value of hadiths regarding life, cannot reveal all the data due to its limitations, it will contribute to the hadith literature and the solution-oriented approach model in terms of determining the perspective of Islamic sources. The Prophet (pbuh) appealed to all times from his century with his humanity, morality and exemplary life. It is important to determine the solution-oriented approach of the Prophet (pbuh). Therefore, it seems that there is a need to benefit from his solution-oriented applications in all areas that concern people and to carry out studies on this subject.
