Abstract (EN)
In this study, the sampling plots were chosen from different salty habitats of Çukurova Delta to select dominant and characteristic halophytic plant species. Selected permanent sampling plots were visited four times periodically in March, May, July and September along a year. In each visiting time, soil and root samples were taken to analyze spore concentration, soil properties and mycorrhizal colonization. Two of selected seven halophytic plant species (Aeloropus littoralis and Halimione portulacoides) from different habitats had been found as mycorrhizal, other five halophytic plant species (Arthrocnemum fruticosum, Arthrocnemum glaucum, Halocnemum strobilaceum, Juncus acutus and Bolboschoenus maritimus) determined as non-mycorrhizal. Parasitic fungal infection was obsemed at all plant species selected from study site. The mycorrhizal colonization rates according to the seasonal changes were found different, and it also showed a negative correlation with number of mycorrhizal spores in soil.
