Determiningt the habitat differencies of the Daphne sericea Vahl. species

In this study known as the typical Mediterranean plant, Daphne sericea Vahl. valh differences and relationships between the qualities of the habitat of the plant have been revealed. Within the framework of these relationships obtained, some proposals for their use in urban areas were tried to be developed. In the study, 13 Parcels have been determined in 3 around of Adana province. The data on the parcels were processed into the prepared land observation form and at this stage the data such as height of parcels, aspect, geopraphy slope status, solar receiving status were collected. Leaf and soil samples were taken from the parcels. Nitrogen(N), Phosphorus(P), Potassium (K), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn) and Iron (Fe) were analyzed in the soil and leaf samples taken in the laboratory. In addition, the analysis of total salt content, total lime content, organic matter and soil texture (clay, sand, silt) values in soil samples had been analyzed. Canonical correspondence analysis and cluster analysis had been applied to the sample analysis results from the last laboratory of the study and the environmental values taken from the parcels. It had been observed that phosphorus, potassium and altitude in the soil were effective in the development of Daphne sericea Vahl. plant.In leaf development, nitrogen, phosphorus, iron and elevation had been positively correlated, while potassium had been correlated a negative.
