Abstract (EN)

According to the floristic studies conducted for the flora of Isparta province located at the intersection of the Mediterranean and Iran-Turan Flora regions in terms of plant geography, it is known that a total of 2280 different plant taxa are distributed, 190 of them are medicinal, aromatic and perfume and 160 of them have high spice value. The Lamiaceae family which is usually a fragrant or perennial herb, is rarely cosmopolitan with shrubs or trees, contains 546 species, 45 genera and a total of 731 taxa. Sideritis that is a member of the Lamiaceae family, has a wide distribution in subtropical and middle regions. It is pilos or tomentos hairy, leaves are full-edged or toothed, brahteols are leaf-shaped, calyx tube or bell-shaped, 5-10 veins, 5 teeth, corolla usually yellow, sometimes white. or red, about 20-90 cm high or perennial grasses or small bushes. The endemism rate (79.5%) is quite high in Turkey where is one of the genetic center of Sideritis taxa. In this study, the leaves and flowers of 4 different natural Sideritis L. taxa, which are distributed in Davraz Mountain, were collected from three different sample areas between 2017-2018. Using by solid phase micro extraction (SPME) technique, with gas chromatography mass spectroscopy (GC-MS), total 62 volatile components of leaves and flowers for Sideritis condensata (Boiss. & Heldr.) subsp. condensata were found. 45 of them were in sampling stand 1, 40 components in samling stand 2 and also 39 in sampling stand 3. A total of 46 components were determined for for Sideritis hispida P. H. Davis. 42 of them were found in sampling stand 1, 40 components were in sampling stand 2 and also 44 in sampling stand 3. For Sideritis libanotica Labill. subsp. linearis, 54 totally components were determined. 40 of them were observed in sampling stand 1, 43 in sampling stand 2 and 41 in sampling stand 3. Total 59 volatile components of leaves and flowers for for Sideritis perfoliata L. were found. 42 of them were found sampling stand 1, 37 in sampling stand 2 and also 41 in sampling stand 3 β-Pinene (11.44%, 11.44%, 12.29%), 3-Octanol (10.46%, 11.64%, 11.73%), Limonene (15.31%, 14.37%, 14.52%), Caryophyllene (13.55%, 12.04%, 17.31%) were determined as main components for Sideritis condensata (Boiss. & Heldr.) subsp. condensata; (E)-2-Hexenal (10.22%, 13.04%, 12.03%), β-Myrcene (35.08%, 36.54%, 35.86%), Caryophyllene (10.07%, 14.37%, 14.52%), p-Cymene (9.64%, 8.80%, 8.11%) for Sideritis hispida P. H. Davis; (E)-2-Hexenal (18.84%, 19.32%, 22.24%), 3-Octanol (21.31%, 15.59%, 20.22%), Limonene (14.70%, 13.73%, 10.77%), Caryophyllene (10.82%, 12.10%, 10.32%) for Sideritis libanotica Labill. subsp. linearis and also α-Pinene (41.83%, 51.02%, 41.92%), β-Pinene (11.46%, 11.30%, 12.47%), Limonene (11.90%, 11.12%, 10.71%), Caryophyllene (12.17%, 12.11%, 10.49%) for Sideritis perfoliata L. The Caryophyllene was identified among the main components in each of the 4 different natural Sideritis L. taxa that were distributed in Davraz Mountain. Limonene was determined among the main components in the other 3 taxa except Sideritis hispida P. H. Davis taxa. In this study, a sub-structure has been formed in order to reveal the economic value of the plants consumed as natural tea in the region and to provide conscious consumption.
