Abstract (EN)

Todays, Data Centers in a single network provide different services with different performance requirements. When running these applications with diverse mixes of flows, in Data Centers switches we face face issues such Incast problem, queue build up and buffer pressure. To solve these problems M. Alizadeh et.al of Stanford University devised a new protocol: Data Center Transmission Control Protocol (DCTCP). In this project, we examined the algorithm of the DCTCP protocol. Problems of data centers and guidance of the protocol to these problems are discussed. To examine the performance of the protocol, we provided examination metrics for each of the Incast, Queue Build Up and Buffer Pressure problems. Next, DCTCP protocol's security analysis have been made. For this security vulnerabilities of the ECN architecture that has been used in the DCTCP protocol is examined.
