Abstract (EN)

Deformation measurements for the determination of structures and Earth's crust movements are among the main subjects of engineering Geodesy. Today, many tools are used to monitor deformations with their specific measurement methods. The behavior of the Earth's crust, the shape, size and location changes of the large engineering structures are determined and interpreted by different deformation analysis methods. Computer software is mostly used to determine the structures and the Earth's crust movements by using deformation analysis methods. Different systems and theories are used in deformation analysis. One of them is the Grey System. A fuzzy logic controller is a set of Fuzzy Logic Controllers. The Grey System has been used in many areas so far. For example, studies have been carried out in forecasting inflation for Turkey, forecasting demand for electricity distribution companies, determining performance of insurance companies, estimating the carbon dioxide emissions of Turkey, analyzing leather physiology, evaluating financial performance of companies operating in the agricultural and livestock sectors in Istanbul, and more. In this study, the usability of Grey System method was investigated in determining and analyzing deformation measurements. For this purpose, the Keban Dam, built on the Euphrates River, has been used to change the water level in the dam pond and the water pressure values recorded by the piezometers in the clay filling area. The amount of change in these values was estimated by the Grey System method.
