Abstract (EN)

This study has been done with the aim of investigation of nature, physical properties and kinematics of some sources using Balmer-? (Ha: 6563 Å) emission line from HII regions in interstellar medium of our Milky Way Galaxy. Through the aim, DEFPOS (Dual Etalon Fabry?Perot Optical Spectrometer) has been redesigned and set up at the coude exit of the 150 cm RTT150 telescope at TUBITAK National Observatory (TUG) The spectrometer has a 4? field of view and a velocity resolution of approximately 30 km/s (a spectral resolving power of ? 10000) over a 200 km/s (4.4 ?) spectral window near H?. Total 130 H? spectra were collected from 59 different sources (Planetary nebulae, HII regions, Nebulae, and Supernova remnants) between 23 May 2007 and 27 September 2008. One of the sources was especially selected the NGC 7000 Nebula. The data from nine selected regions of NGC 7000 nebula were used to make intensity calibration of the spectrometer. One region was especially selected with the same region whose intensity value was estimated to be 900 R over the 4? Fabry-Perot?s FOV by Morgenthaler et al. (2001). Comparing these spectra with 900 R, we determined that 1 ADU km/s corresponded to 2337.4 R for a 1200 s exposure time. Later, all the data taken with DEFPOS were analyzed using ring-summing technique and then their intensities, velocities with respect to LSR and line width (FWHM) values were determined. The results were compared with the previous results and seen that there was an agreement. Addition to these works, some properties of DEFPOS, such as wavelength calibration and signal-to-noise ratio, were argued in this study.
