Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the school periods of the children who were given probation measures. The research was designed in the scanning model and the qualitative research method was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of 50 children in total who came to Ankara Probation Directorate and Ankara West Probation Directorates and were decided to be subject to probation. As a data collection tool in the research, the questionnaire "Questions Regarding the School Period of the Children Who Have Been Given Probation Measures" was applied. The data collected from the data collection tool were analyzed by frequency calculation. In the study, most of the children who come to the Ankara probation directorate have low school success, have high truancy behaviors, use addictive substances and drop out from school, do not participate in social activities during school periods, act against discipline during school term, and do not receive any information from the guidance service. It was concluded that they did not receive any support and that they perceived the rules and discipline when teachers and school administrators were mentioned during the school term
