Old Turkish beliefs in city of Denizli

The most important source of Turkish civilization is culture, and one of the most significant elements forming this culture is the deep-rooted beliefs of the Turkish people. These beliefs, combined with other cultural elements that constitute Turkish culture, have served as a great bridge spanning from the past to the present and future of our history. Ancient Turkish beliefs have left their marks through time, despite changing times, locations, and cultural interactions. Particularly within the religious and social life of Anatolian society, it is possible to see traces of ancient Turkish beliefs and culture. In my study, we examined sacred visitation sites and certain belief-related locations in the Denizli region where the reflections of ancient Turkish beliefs are clearly seen. The belief practices and rituals at these sites were observed, and the ancient Turkish belief motifs that continue to thrive in these places were identified.
