Abstract (EN)

In our day of continuously improving science and technology, occuring many marine accidents resulting in still very large loss of life and property and marine pollution makes out the uncovered need to work on the people as a unique unchanging element of the sea trade in the past and present.Marine accidents basically can be grouped as the accidents resulting from naturel events, human-induced accidents and the accidents caused by technical problems.In this study instead of doing an investigation on the natural maritime casualities including variables that can not be controlled, the marine accidents from machine failures and non-technical causes of accidents. The human factor considered as the cause of 80 % of marine accidents is studied with all aspects.
