Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a stock-taking software to digitalize current, paper-based stock-taking process. Existing process can be defined as a manual process basically. Only office programs are used during the process. The process is not capable of satisfying existing needs as it is cumbersome and error prone. With the thesis study, first of all, the current stock-taking process, the actors involved in the process, the duties and authorities of the actors, and the information that the actors will need while performing their duties are defined. Work-flow processes are developed according to the scope of the requested stock taking process. The stock-taking sofware is coded in C# programming language in accordance with the prepared workflow processes. User interfaces and report pages are built in Angular. The developed software has a flexible structure suitable for partial and full stock-taking. In order for the software to be used, the necessary data must be included in the existing database. During the development of the software, which will digitalize the stocktaking process, System Development Life Cycle steps are followed. As a result, the digitalization of the stock-taking process is achieved with the development of the software. The software ensures that problems such as data losses, erroneous registration, and similar problems caused by the use of paper-based process are eliminated; it enables the stock-taking process to be monitored digitally, performed faster and more reliable.
