Abstract (EN)
In this research; poly (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-glycidyl methacrylate) p(HEMA-GMA) hydrogel membrane, produced by UV polymerization methods, was used for Acid Black 210 dyestuff adsorption. For this purpose firstly p(HEMA-GMA) hydrojel membrane was modified by imino diacetic acid (IDA) in order that Cr(III) heavy metal ions were attached to polymer structure. Cr(III) ions chelating optimization of p(HEMA-GMA)-IDA hydrogel membrane was worked different medium conditions (initial dye concentration, pH and time). Then characterization of p(HEMA-GMA)-IDA hydrojel membrane was made by SEM, ATR+FT-IR, Dynamic Swelling Test, Colorimetric Ninhydrin Test Method and Elemental Analysis. Acid Black 210 dyestuff optimization of p(HEMA-GMA)-IDA-Cr(III) hydrogel membrane was made different medium conditions (initial dye concentration, pH and time). Also desorption conditions of Acid Black 210 adsorbed membrane and the reusability of membrane were investigated. In second part of research; p(HEMA-GMA)-IDA hydrogel membrane was used for treating of chrome tanning and dye discharge waters. COD, BOD5, conductivity, pH, salinity, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, potassium, total nitrogen and chromium content of waste waters were investigated by standard methods. According to results, it was detected that pollution loads of Cr (III) and Acid Black 210 dyesutff adsorbed p(HEMA-GMA)-IDA hydrogel membrane significantly reduced in chrome tanning and dye effluents.
