Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT This study was carried out to determine the agricultural and technological properties of different oat (Avena sativa L.) variety genotypes in irrigated and non-irrigated conditions in Yozgat Province. Field studies were carried out at Bozok University Agricultural Application and Research Center Yerköy Station during the 2016-2017 growing season. The experiments was arranged with a split-plot design in the form of the split plots design with three replications, Water applications (irrigated, non-irrigated) took place at main plots and genotypes (Checota, Yeniçeri, Kahraman, Line-1, Line-2, Line-3) at sub plots. In the study, plant height, panicle length, number for number of grain per panicle, grain yield, biomass yield, harvest index, screenings percentage > 2 mm, thousand-grain weight, hectoliter weight, ADF and NDF ratios, β-glucan ratio, protein ratio, grain fat ratio, ash ratio, starch ratio and groat percentage were determined. In this a study, plant height, panicle length, number for number of grain per panicle, grain yield, biomass yield, harvest index, screenings percentage > 2 mm, thousand-grain weight, hectoliter weight, ADF and NDF ratios, β-glucan ratio, protein ratio, grain fat ratio, ash ratio, starch ratio and groat percentage varied between 61.9 to 81.1 cm, 16.0 to 19.4 cm, 23.2 to 31.1 no, 36.9 to 56.4 no, 184.4 to 349.7 kg/da, 763.7 to 1160.0 kg/da, 23.2 to 31.6%, 66.6 to 93.6%, 25.0 to 37.3 g, 43.2 to 49.6 kg, 11.0 to 16.4%, 29.5 to 37.3%, 2.17 to 3.40%, 13.3 to 14.8%, 4.8 to 6.6%, 2.7 to 3.0%, 42.5 to 46.3% and 65.4 to 72.9%. In irrigated conditions, the grain yield per decare increased by an average of 56%. The highest yield per decare was obtained from the general Line-1 (349.7 kg/da), Line-3 (320.7 kg/da) and Line-2 (278.0 kg/da). In terms of biomass yield; the highest values were measured in Line-3 (1160 kg/da) and Line-1 (1089 kg/da) genotypes. In both types of yields, Chekota and Yeniceri were the last ones.
