Abstract (EN)

The primary objective of this research is to examine the effects of virtuous and non-virtuous goods on young individuals and, in particular, to develop a digital intervention model aimed at transforming negative behavior patterns caused by non- virtuous goods (cigarettes, alcohol, digital addiction, excessive consumption habits, etc.) into positive ones through a state-supported mobile application. The study aims to reveal whether it is possible to raise awareness, guide, and encourage virtuous behavior among young people through digital tools. First, a literature review was conducted to conceptually examine virtuous and non-virtuous goods. A mobile interface application was then developed. In the first phase, a literature review was conducted to examine the definition, scope, and impact of virtuous and non-virtuous goods within a theoretical framework. In the second phase, a state-supported mobile interface application was designed and implemented. The findings obtained during the implementation process revealed that the digital interface raised awareness of non-virtuous habits in young people and resulted in a significant decrease in the frequency of these habits. On the other hand, a significant increase in the tendency towards virtuous activities (sports, arts, reading, volunteering, etc.) was observed. The app's reward system, gamification elements, and personalized content recommendations have been found to have a positive impact on young users and increase app loyalty. The research concludes that digital tools can be used effectively to protect young people from the negative effects of unethical goods and guide them toward virtuous behavior. Implementing a state-supported, digitally-based approach, particularly on mobile platforms where young people interact extensively, has the potential to create positive transformations at both individual and societal levels in the long term. Testing the developed mobile app across a wider range of age and socioeconomic groups, continuously updating the app, and integrating it into the education system are considered important steps to enhance the sustainability and social impact of the project.
