Abstract (EN)
Today, employees spend a significant part of their daily lifein work environment. Individuals should get pleasure from what they do and their expectations should be met in order them to live a happy life. This happiness issue is closely related to climate of the organization the employees work for. Therefore, individuals desire to work for an organization that has a favorable climate.The purpose of this study is to determine the relation between the organizational climate perceptions and job satisfaction levels of teachers who work at public primary schools.This study is prepared in relational model and field research has been done in the public schools in Altındağ, Ankara in 2011-2012 academic year to verify the model. Sample of this study is 403 teachers working in 16 schools. Data used in this study is collected with a three-part questionnaire which is composed of descriptive information, factors affecting organizational climate and factors affecting job satisfaction parts. Reliability analysis, factor analysis, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percent, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, binary and multiple regression analysis were the statistical methods used to analyze the data of the study.Results of the analysis show that there is a positive, linear, high level and significant relation between organizational climate perceptions and job satisfaction levels of teachers in the sample. Job satisfaction levels of teachers increase as their perception of organizational climate factors is positive according to the results of the analysis. The results of the analysis done to determine if organizational climate has an effect on job satisfaction reveals that the factors of organizational climate; leadership style, organizational communication and goals are positively significant factors on job satisfaction, but organizational structure is not.
