Abû Hanîfah?s logic of ijtihad in the context of differentiations from other mujtahids

In our thesis entitled ?Abû Hanîfah?s Logic of ijtihad in the Context of Differentiations from Other Mujtahids?, the individual reasonings of Abû Hanîfah, who is the founder of the Hanafite School of Law and one of the arch-molders of Islamic jurisprudence, that differ from those of other Muslim jurists have been evaluated.Based on this thesis, our work is composed of two sections: (a) The Factors Forming Abû Hanîfah?s Logic of Law?, and (b) General Principles Reflected on Abû Hanîfah?s Logic of Law?.In the first chapter, the cognitive structure of Abû Hanîfah, and, thus the physical and socio-cultural environment shaping Abû Hanîfah?s logic of law will be analyzed.In the second chapter, the individual reasonings of Abû Hanîfah that set him apart from other jurists, and general codes effective in these individual reasonings will be laid bare.
