Abstract (EN)
This study examines the digitalization process of everyday life through white-collar occupational groups. The digitization of everyday life is the emergence of two interrelated processes as a result of the increasing involvement of digital devices and applications in everyday life: first, the creation of new economic and cultural forms; second, the transformation of the individual's experience and thought practices. From this point of view, this study seeks to answer how the working time and non-working time of white-collar workers are transformed. With digitalisation, it has been observed that white-collar workers have turned into a performance subject in all time periods of everyday life and their lives are surrounded by rational limitations. This transformation has been conceptualised under the title of "digital cage".
