Abstract (EN)

The journey of Industry 1.0, which started with the Industrial Revolution, especially based on the last 250 years, has managed to reach Industry 4.0 with the phenomenon of digitalization today. In conditions where digital transformation and digital technology have become the main phenomenon of the 21st century, the transformation of working life and institutions has also become inevitable. In this study, the social reflection of digitalization in general, the historical background of the digitalization adventure, and then the effect of digitalization on institutions, the innovations it brings in working life and its relationship with the internal entrepreneurship characteristics of the employees are presented. More concretely, in this study, assumptions (hypotheses) about how digitalization has an impact on organizational structure, communication and human resources education as well as demographic variables on intrapreneurship are put forward and tested. For this purpose, a questionnaire developed by the researcher was applied to the workers in the production sector in Ankara and 286 valid questionnaires were obtained. Some findings were obtained by analyzing the survey data through the SPSS 23.0 program. The main hypothesis of the research; According to the results of the multiple regression analysis conducted to test the effects of digitalization dimensions on organizational structure, organizational communication and human resources training on employees' intrapreneurship tendencies, three independent variables were effective on the dependent variable. Among the independent variables, the slope variable was the most influential variable on intrapreneurship. Other variables affecting intrapreneurship tendency are organizational communication and organizational structure variables. The findings obtained as a result of the analysis of the hypotheses within the scope of the intrapreneurship tendency with demographic variables; that gender and education variables cannot be used to explain digitalization dimensions and intrapreneurship; that the level of technological adaptation can be used to explain organizational structure and intrapreneurship tendencies; There is no relationship between age and intrapreneurship, but as age increases, the level of digital technology use increases and the increase in the total working time of employees in business life positively affects intrapreneurship tendencies. After the interpretation of the findings, the study ends with suggestions for businesses and researchers.
