Abstract (EN)

Pitting is observed in helical gears because of surface fatigue as also in all other gears. Although development mechanism is known it's caplicated and depends on many parameters however under different situations and results. Shape dependent design parameters like profile correction factor, pitch angle and other parameters and also occurance of macropitting was observed in preface pinion gear. Keeping the material, lubricant and surface texture parameters constant, and having gears with different working moments provided altered Hertzian contact pressures. Shape dependent design parameters like profile correction factor, pitch angle and other parameters were established in observations under different and stable Hertzian pressure. In light of the foregoing calculations and observation results, we tried to review pitting damagei its results and cycle number which is occurs according to parameters.
