Abstract (EN)
Water, which is very important for human life, carries some radioisotopes with it while being taken into the human body. Radon-222 is one of the most important radioisotopes taken into the human body with water. In this study, 31 different drinking water samples collected throughout Diyarbakır were examined in terms of active radon activity concentration. The radon activity concentrations of these samples were determined using the AlphaGuard radon measurement system. With the obtained values, some dose calculations were made and the results were compared with the results of similar studies in the literature.
