Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine the aflatoxin levels of cattle feed and dairy cattle feed obtained from feed production facilities located in Diyarbakır, which constitutes a large part of cattle production in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. The feeds in the region where the study will be conducted will be evaluated according to the presence of contamination in terms of total aflatoxin levels, and the use rates of these feeds in the region will be determined by evaluating them with respect to the limits of Aflatoxin B1 (≥0.005 ppm) in dairy cattle feed and Aflatoxin B1 (≥0.02 ppm) in cattle feed, as specified in the Regulation on Unwanted Substances in Feeds (Regulation No: 2014/11). Reporting will be carried out regarding the conditions under which feeds and raw materials should be stored according to the levels of mycotoxin contamination.
