Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out under Diyarbakir condition in the spring and summer in 2018. The aimed to determine the effect of sowing rates (20, 30, 40 and 50 seeds/m2) on some mung bean cultivars (KPS1-Thailand, NM54-Pakistan, NIMB51-Bangladesh and Native Adiyaman) on the yield and yield components. The experiment was designed the randomized blocks design in split plot with three replications. The plantings were made on 18 April 2018. The parcels are four rows of 5 m long in 45 cm row spacing. Plant height, the first pod height, the number of main branches, pods, seeds per plant the weight of pods, 1000 grain weight, biomass yield, grain yield and harvest index for sowing denstities were significant. The differences among varieties for grain yield was significant. The grain yield ranged from 21.31 kg/da in local variety and 54.0 kg/da in NIMB51. Grain yield varied from 24.77 kg/da to 51.37 kg/da depending on plant density. The lowest value is obtained from the 20 seed/m2 plant density and the highest value is 50 seed/m2 plant density.
