Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out determining triticale lines, adapted to ecological conditions of Diyarbakir, located in South Eastern Anatolia, in cereal growing season in 2009 and 2010 according to randomized block design with three replications. 20 triticale lines and two bread wheat cultivars along with one advanced barley line were used as research materials which were evaluated in terms of grain yield, some agronomic characters and chlorophyll content. The highest grain yield was obtained from DZ9-04 triticale line with 601.8 kg/da yield. In this genotype, grain yield was found 81 %, 36 % and %126 higher than bread wheat (Nurkent, Pehlivan) and barley, which are used as controls in the research, respectively. As a result, it is foreseen that some triticale lines may be used as alternatives in place of wheat and barley cultivars, grown in the region, and may bring higher grain.
