Abstract (EN)
In Turkish folk dances, a game is usually accompanied by a melody. However, when we look at the Diyarbakır region, it is seen that a game has more than one melody. This diversity may vary according to the performer. The performers selected as examples in the analysis of the music of folk dances of Diyarbakır region were determined according to the criteria of being from zurna performers, being recognized in the region, being alive and being active performers working with local teams, taking into consideration that the basic and generally used instruments in folk dances are drums and zurna. The performers who call themselves Dom take an active role in the performance of Diyarbakır region folk dance music. In the research, information about the lives of Mahmut Şirin Demir, Selahattin Davulcu and Seyithan Atar were included. The music of 7 plays performed by 3 performers were recorded with video and voice recorders and transcribed using Mus2 note writing program. The usul, decisive voice, strong voice, sound width, tempo distributions of the notated works and the maqam characteristics of the scale used were revealed. As a result of the examinations carried out, while the usûl and tempo features used in the performance of the game music are similar, the decision voice, strong voice, sound field and the maqam similarity features of the scale used differ according to the performers. The data were obtained by using documentary scanning, observation and interview techniques and analyzed by content analysis technique.
