Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the effects of silver nanoparticle (Nan- Ag) added to feeds on growth, feed intake, whole body nutritional composition and critical thermal maxima value of Rainbow trout were investigated. In the trial, 3 different doses (0, 0.2 and 2 mg / kg) of Nano- Ag feed were prepared and the fish were fed with these feeds twice a day througout 60 days. Three tanks were used to represent each experimental group and the initial weights of the fish were individually taken and stocked in the tanks. At the end of the experiment, no statistical difference was observed among the growth performance (weight gain, specific growth rate) and feed intake (P> 0.05). In the critical thermal maxima (CTMax) trial carried out at the end of the trial exhibited that Nano-Ag added to feeds did not have a significant statistical effect altough it was observed that high Nano-Ag increased thermal tolerance partially (P> 0.05). Mean CTMax values of individuals in the 0 (control), 0.2 and 2 mg / kg groups 27.0 ° C, 27.2 ° C, and 27.8 ° C. Key Words: Feed intake, Feed Additives, Nanotechnology, Thermal tolerans
