Abstract (EN)

The barite deposits, which occur in crystallized limestone and dolomites Cambrian aged Değirmentaş formation and their contacts take part as veins and lens specimes have epigenetic character. The poor paragenesis which is consist of barite, quartz and calcite is observed in NE ? SW direction barite veins. Fluorite, plagioclase and muscovite minerals have been determined as accessory minerals. Acording to the chemical analysis results of the barite mineralization in the region it has been observed that existence of the trace elements such as Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni and Co in regional barite deposits even though they have a low amount of concentration. The bedding shapes, paragenesis, host rock alterations and high amount SrO of the barite deposits in the study area show that these barite deposits form as hydrothermal. However the position NTE distributions CeN/ YbN ? YbN and CeN/SmN - CeN/YbN diagrams were investigeted, ıt?s seen that both of them were located as a scquence units near sea water. The fluid inclusion data which measured in barite deposits determined that the mineralizated solution has low salinity (% 0,9-1,6) and the temperature of becoming homogeneous between 78 -190 oC. The ratio of barite 34S isotope are change between +32,2 and +36,3 ?. The ratio of strontium isotope changes between 0,709885 and 0,749652. According to the distributions of 34S and 87Sr/ 86Sr isotope ratio and investigations of fluid inclusions in barites observing one (fluid) and two (fluid+gas) phases inclusions determined that metamorphic fractinal host rocks and Cambrian Carbonates in the Paleosoic basement has been formed interaction with meteoric and marine water which has rich amount of sulfate concentration. Bedding shapes, mineral units, trace element contents, fluid inclusion data, 34S and 87Sr/ 86Sr isotopes ratio, indicate that barite has been formed by metaclastic and Cambrian aged Carbonate host rocks in Infracambrian basement which affected with meteoric and marine water or/and buried intrusion related to hydrothermal solution mixtures.Key Words: Feke (Adana), Barite, Rare earth elements, Fluid inclusions, Isotope
