Abstract (EN)

Competition in the textile industry, energy crisis and increase in labor costs direct manufacturers to produce high quality and cost-effective products. Variables that affect embroidery quality offer the potential to increase sales prices by increasing product costs. Nowadays, embroidery is an important technique for producing high value-added textile products. This research aims to examine the parameters affecting the quality of the embroidery process on woven fabrics. In the literature of the research, there are evaluations that competition in the textile industry, energy crisis and increase in labor costs direct manufacturers to produce high quality and cost-effective products. It is emphasized that the variables affecting the embroidery process, which is the main subject of the research, have the potential to increase sales prices by increasing product costs. Today, the embroidery process is considered an important technique for producing high value-added textile products. The research was designed to examine the parameters affecting the quality of the embroidery process on woven fabrics. In the research, the effects of machine parameters, fabric properties, interlining factor and patterning processes on quality were investigated and modeled by processing the same embroidery patterns determined under different interlining structures on woven fabrics of various weights and densities. The samples of the research were sent to Efes Havlu Tekstil San. and Tic. It covers the applications carried out on Tajima brand TMCP-1215F model embroidery machines in the embroidery department of A.Ş. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that the embroidery quality in the embroideries using poplin fabric type is very bad, the embroidery using paper interlining is very bad, the embroidery models are poor, even if sparse, and the embroidery area is worse than small areas. According to the modeling results of the research, it was observed that embroidering poplin fabric with paper interlining revealed a very poor embroidery quality pattern, while dense pattern embroidery on linen cloth foot and velvet fabrics provided very good embroidery quality.
