The Effect of Foreign Direct Investment on Economic Growth; The Case of Turkey-India?Burhan ASLANInsufficient national savings in Developing Countries (DCs) effect those countries? growth process in a negative way, and intensive competition in this area has directed all the attention to foreign direct investment. In this study, the impacts of foreign direct investment on economic growth and the results of implementation for Turkey and India were examined by using horizontal sectional data analysis. The period which was examined for Turkey was the years between 1980 -2010,As a result of the regression model that was formed for the study, it was observed that foreign direct investment inflows to Turkey are positive and meaningful but at a low level contrary to what is expected.Key Words:Foreign Direct Investments, Economic Growth
