Abstract (EN)

Customs and traditions are important cultural heritage of the past into the future of a society. Domaniç District is important as it is the site of establishment of the Ottomans. They are the lands on which Veterans and their wives settled down that came from Khorasan to Anatolia. Societies that could not protect their history and traditions have no chance to rise with a solid foundation. Our lullabies, songs, rugs and prayers are values that we stand for. Within this awareness, the region which is an important place in terms of Turk culture and history has been subjected to evaluation in terms of folklore for the first time. In the first chapter of the study are given some examples of anonymous folk literature that collected from the region. These forms which are discussed in two titles as folk literature anonym products verse and prose are subjected to assessment such as concept, execution and texts. The second chapter consists of the transition periods of Domaniç region. Transition periods have respectively been examined under five headings such as birth, circumcision, military service, marriage and death. In the third chapter, public beliefs take place. Beliefs about animate and inanimate existence in the world of people, beliefs about dream and other beliefs are given in this section. The fourth chapter, the folk medicine, the fifth chapter, the folk calendar and the sixth chapter consists of the evaluation of the prayer centers. In this chapter, the tomb of Hayme Ana (Main State) which is an important figure in terms of the Turkish culture and beliefs around it has been examined.
