Abstract (EN)

The foreign exchange pressure index is a measure of the fluctuations in exchange rates in Turkey. Commercial loans, on the other hand, are a tool used to meet financing needs. In recent years, the foreign exchange pressure index has become increasingly important in Turkey due to the state of the economy. In this context, the foreign exchange pressure index is being used as an effective tool to control fluctuations in exchange rates in the Turkish economy. This study aims to measure the impact of the pressure in the foreign exchange market on the use of commercial loans in Turkey. For this purpose, the foreign exchange pressure index was calculated, and various analyses were conducted to determine if there was any interaction with commercial loans. Definitions of foreign exchange and loans were provided, followed by the analysis. Finally, new policy recommendations were proposed in the conclusion section.
