Public-private partnership in the world and in Turkey: Example of transportation servi̇ces

This work has been formed in two main parts. In the prepared first part, Public-Private Partnership's literature examined has been made. The conceptions have been tried to be defined and classified. Public in infrastructure services getting done to private sector, Public-Private Partnership has been examined produced its advantages disadvantages. In the second part, the purpose of study, to explain transportation services of Public-Private Partnership, two parts have been produced and at the first part using areas is disclosed in general of the world. Public-Private Partnership reason for preferences have been investigated with giving countries examples. At the last part, Public-Private Partnership's place an importance has been explained in Turkey. At transportation sector, using areas and giving samples to these areas, Public-Private Partnership's reasons for preference has been investigated in detail. Public sector, the transportation areas that formed infrastructure services, leaving over permanently because of administrative, technical and economical problems. These delayed infrastructure services by public sector, as an alternative way with Private sector's inclusion, Public-Private Partnership is used. The purpose at this work is researching the costs of benefits what Public-Private Partnerships provided to country.
