Abstract (EN)
In this study, processing of manganese ores taken from Konya, Cihanbeyli Kütükuşağı area was investigated from applying MGS (Multi Gravity Separator), High Gradient Wet Magnetic Seperator, Flotation or Chemical Leaching. XRD analyses showed that the ore contains mainly Braunite, Lepidocrocite, Kuvars and Pyrolusite crystal phases. At the optimum working conditions (d80=0,106 mm, 160 rpm drum speed, 4o incline degree, 2.2 L/min feed rates and 25% pulp density) of MGS, a concentrate was obtained with 45,27% Mn with a yield of 26.56%. At the optimum working conditions (30oC temperature 5.5 M H2SO4 rate, 18% pulp density and 60 minutes leaching time) of chemical leaching, leaching yield was 51.86%
