Abstract (EN)

This study has analyzed the empirical relationships between transformational leadership and emotional intelligence. The survey has been done by seventy employees who are working at nine different private banks in Turkey. The relationship between transformational leadership and emotional intelligence has investigated and also the differences in these concepts has determined according to working place (branch / headquarters), city, age, total working time, total working time at this place and banks' assets. This study has showed that impact of empathy is negative over charisma while impact of empaty is positive over individualized consideration. The results of the study illustrate that dimentions of transformational leadership and emotional intelligence change according to working place (branch / headquarters), city, age, total working time, total working time at this place and banks' assets.
