Abstract (EN)
With the emergence of new technologies, many models have been developed for the acceptance and adoption of these innovations, starting with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In today's digital world, e-wallet has replaced the existing physical wallet with banknotes, coins, plastic cards and ATM cards. Therefore, it enables consumers to purchase products/services from any person or store around the world. In this study, user experience analysis for e-wallet usage in society was conducted. The Technology Acceptance Model was used for this analysis. The application of the research was carried out on 330 participants. A questionnaire was applied to the participants about their views on the use of e-wallet. However, 300 of the collected questionnaires were included in the analysis. The 5-point Likert-type questionnaire contains a total of 29 items consisting of 7 factors: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, intention of use, provided system security, cultural fit, social image and system quality. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 23 program. Descriptive statistics, normal distribution test, factor analysis and regression analysis results are reported. According to the findings, perceived ease of use, provided system security, social image and system quality affect the perceived usefulness positively, while cultural fit affects the perceived usefulness negatively. However, system quality, cultural fit and provided system security affects perceived ease of use positively; social image, on the other hand, has a negative effect. Moreover, provided system security, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness affect the intention of use positively. This study not only expands the literature on e-wallet and its use, but also sheds light on the points that system implementers and system designers should focus on.
