Abstract (EN)

In the present investigation, women in their premenopausal and postmenopausal stages were evaluated for their lipid profiles and for the levels of a few sex hormones. The research was conducted on 250 premenopausal (average age 32) and postmenopausal (average age 58) women (mean age 55 years). A total of 160 healthy postmenopausal women and 90 premenopausal women took part in the present investigation. The thesis was completed between September 2021 and February 2022 at Kirkuk city's hospitals. The lipid profile shows substantial (P0.05) increases and decreases across the groups investigated.. Postmenopausal women's lipid profile was shown to be significantly (P 0.05) elevated compared to premenopausal women. Postmenopausal women's HDL concentrations dropped significantly (P 0.05) compared to those of premenopausal women. Otherwise, postmenopausal women's serum testosterone concentrations did not differ significantly (P 0.05) from those of premenopausal women. Compared to premenopausal women, postmenopausal women had significantly lower levels of estrogen and progesterone in their bloodstreams. Postmenopausal women's lipid profiles and the levels of some sex hormones are found to be significantly altered, according to new research.
