Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the effect of smoking on the functions of some organs in the body such as the liver, heart, and lung, study the effect on the function of these organs. This case-control study included 100 participants (50 patients and 50 controls). The patients were divided into two groups: 50 patients they suffer from the infertility hormone and 50 control quitting smoking for more than 5 years, who visit the chemical and hormones Center, at Samraa, Salah-Alden Iraq. The level of free testosterone, FSH , and LH not effect. The study was revealed, a significant decrease in free testosterone and increase in level of FSH in the patient's group when compared with the control. Smoking not only affects infertility hormones, but also affects other organs in the human body, such as the heart, lung and other organs. And perhaps if a person continues to smoke, it leads to heart and lung diseases, cancer, liver damage, premature aging, an increase in blood and other diseases.
