Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of EFQM Excellence Model on human resources processes in depth. The research was conducted with a phenomenological design from qualitative research methods; semi-structured interviews were conducted with the human resources managers of a corporate company operating in different sectors. The interviews with the participants determined by purposive sampling method were audio recorded, then transcribed and content analysed with MAXQDA software. Within the scope of the research, forty-nine codes under fifteen themes were revealed as a result of the interviews with six HR managers about the changes brought about by the EFQM model in their organisations and the effects of the model. According to the research findings, the integration of EFQM model into HR strategies, structural changes in processes, people-orientation principle, employee development, talent management, performance measurement, employee engagement, feedback and decision-making processes make significant contributions to corporate culture. As a result, it has been determined that the EFQM Excellence Model has a multidimensional and positive impact on HR management and that basic principles such as transparency, accountability and employee participation in human resources units encourage institutionalisation and development especially in areas such as employee satisfaction, commitment, performance and corporate sustainability. However, it has been observed that the difficulties encountered in the process of integrating the model into the organisation can be overcome with strong leadership and corporate ownership.
