Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out to examine and compare the leisure time satisfaction and adaptation levels of university life students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences studying in the Aegean and Central Black Sea regions. Within the scope of the research, the relationships between the demographic characteristics of the participants and their levels of leisure satisfaction and adaptation to university life were evaluated. Data were collected using the Leisure Time Satisfaction Scale (SZSS) and the University Life Adaptation Scale (ÜYUÖ). The findings revealed that the participants showed significant differences according to gender, age, university, department, class, parental education level and income level. Additionally, a positive and significant relationship was found between SZDS and UMSS. Research results show that leisure activities affect the social and academic adaptation processes of university students and strategic suggestions can be offered to improve these processes.
