Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to learn and evaluate the opinions of education supervisors about course supervision and to develop solutions within the framework of the results. The qualitative method was used in the study and the data were obtained through in-depth interviews with thirty education supervisors working in four different provinces. The content analysis of the research was conducted with Nvivo qualitative data analysis program. According to the results of the research, it is seen that education supervisors strongly emphasized the definition of course supervision, its indispensability, its fulfillment by education supervisors and the necessity of education supervisors to be in a continuous development effort. In addition, it is understood that there is a great deal of consensus that the number of education inspectors is quite low compared to their fields of duty; guidance/supervision and disciplinary work and procedures are fields of activity that are incompatible with each other in terms of quality, therefore, education inspectors who will work in these fields should be separated; reopening the educational administration and supervision undergraduate programs of universities will improve the qualifications of education inspectors in a positive sense and in this framework, education inspectors should be encouraged to receive postgraduate education. The need to work together with all relevant stakeholders in the inspection process was also emphasized by a large number of education inspectors. It is understood from the results of the research that it is important to increase the selection and training qualifications of education inspectors, to assign a sufficient number of inspectors and to determine objectively the course inspection criteria for an effective course inspection.
