Abstract (EN)
In order to meet housing an intense construction has been made due to therapid population growth by the industrial revolution since 1950 s. This construction movement seems to caused by irreversible environmental, ecological and socio-economic problems. In order to eliminate the problems especially in developed countries the theoretical discussion of ecology – economy balance, theoretical back ground of sustainability and ecological architecture examples have been examined interms of wood materials in this the sis. Keywords: Sustainablty, Ecological Architecture, Wooden Structures.
