Abstract (EN)

South of the village of Elazig Yemişlik-Dereboynu Between Petrographic and Geochemical Features of Igneous Rocks In This thesis, it has examined that mineralogical - petrographic and geochemical characteristics of Middle Eocene Maden Group volcanic rocks, Upper Miocene-Pliocene Karabakır Formation, the Upper Cretaceous magmatics of Elazığ spreading around of Tadım, Dedeyolu, Badempınar, the Kavalli, Alıncık, Yemişlik villages in the south of Elazig province. Furthermore it has tried to clarify magma origin and influential processes in its formation. in results of Petrographic studies, İt has determined that formation of dacite / rhyolite, basalt, spilitic basalt, andesite and basaltic andesite, trachyte, tephrite dolerite in the area belonging to Elazığ magmatics. The samples belong to group of Mine is composition latite, dacite / rhyolite, lithic tuffs. The samples of Karabakır Formation is occur mostly basalt and minor tephrite rocks. Geochemical datais compatible with petrographic data of all units. In addition, it geochemical data has determined that Elazığ magmatics and Mining Group rocks has low-and middle-K calc calc feature and Karabakır Formation rocks has high-K calc alkaline In this study, LILE and LREE enrichments occurring in rocks were referred that the effect of plunge-sinking process, the effect of crustal contamination or low degree partial melting in the source region. Low MgO content of these rocks were supported that subducted lithosphere or upper mantle source metasomatized under the certain circumstances occurred with partial melting. In All of the geochemical assessment, Karabakır Formation samples were characterization that affected magma by a different magma or different plutons events, while Elazığ and Maden group samples were showed behavior that the same magma source that will characterize. Elazığ and Maden volcanic rocks were affected enriched lithospheric source with plunge-sinking process, Formation Karabakır rocks with high Nb / Ba and Nb / La content were affected from enriched asthenospheric source and inland. Chemical analysis results of samples in accordance with isotope analysis data are indicate not descended from a homogeneous source of all of these rocks. Accordingly, Elazığ magmatics samples representing island arc volcanics have low (87Sr/86Sr) i ratios and positive (+) εn values. It suggests that depleted mantle source and / or a depleted mantle derived, and an old metasomatism of these rocks. Karabakır Formation volcanic rocks indicated the latest members derived from a depleted mantle.
