Abstract (EN)

In this study synncronous buck converter design has been realized to produce hydrogen with electrolysis. As energy sources, electrical energy obtained from renewable energy sources is used. On the proposed buck converter, obtaining constant current source is aimed at variable loads and voltages. DC-DC buck converter simulation is done for fuzzy logic converter and PI converter on Matlab Simulink medium. According to the simulation results the design of the system are conducted. PWM technique is used for controlling of switching equipments on the system. To make comparison system has also been controlled using PI controller. Current error and change of current error has been choseen as input variables and variation of duty cycle has been choseen as output variables. System has been tested variable loads and variable supply voltages using both PI controller and fuzzy logic controller. According to experimental study results fuzzy logic controller is faster on responding time and has lower overshot and less steady state error than PI controller. It is shown that fuzzy logic controller is suitable controller for buck converter that will use renewable energy sources.
