Abstract (EN)

All electrically powered devices must successfully pass the electrical tests in the standards they are subject to and meet these requirements in order to receive CE marks. In line with these tests, the ability of the devices to continue their normal operation electromagnetically without negatively affecting themselves and the operation of other devices around and also without being negatively affected by the operation of other devices is called "Electromagnetic Compatibility". Devices must be designed in accordance with electromagnetic compatibility principles during the design phase. After the design, the devices are subjected to several electromagnetic compatibility tests. In this study, techniques of increasing immunity and reducing emissions against electromagnetic interference via conducted coupling in order to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in electronic devices are presented together with the necessary electromagnetic theory and EMC/EMI principles. In addition to EMC tests, standards, and product certification issues, an electronic device was ensured to pass the test successfully with the detection of the EMC problem by the conducted emissions measurement and the design of a suitable EMI mains filter.
