Six sigma applications in a company producing electronic

Today, with the developing technology and the gradual disappearance of the borders between countries, a global competitive environment has been created in every sector. In this increasing and aggravating competitive environment, it has become difficult for firms to increase their profitability rates and even take to survive while preserving their existing profitability so they must take various precautions. For this reason, companies have tended to increase customer satisfaction and started to work in this direction. In this thesis, the measures that can be taken to reduce errors, to increase customer satisfaction and profitability rate in a company producing electronic cards with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) have been examined. Six Sigma methodology and its tools were used to determine the root causes of errors and to perform necessary studies. In the first stage of the study, maintenance and calibration processes of the devices used in production were examined. In the second stage, the best values of solder brands, the highest temperature of the oven and the conveyor speed of the oven were determined, which are effective in the errors that occur in electronic cards by an experimental design study.
